Hi, I am elizabeth and I photograph families who are interested in documenting their unique family story. The beautiful mess is what I like to call it--The eskimo kisses, the oreo smudged face, tears from a skinned up knee, to mention a few. My greatest joy is giving you photographs that portray simple love and fleeting moments other wise forgotten.

Our time together will be authentic, joyful, and sometimes awkward feeling (but looks dang good, haha). I’m drawn to the connection between loved ones; the 'picture perfect' and the 'holy crap, I can't believe my kid just did that'.

This is where I am suppose to tell you all about what I like and don't like to do, but instead of all of that I want to share how photographs change perspective.

Being a mom of littles it is easy to get down on myself, its easy to "insta" compare my life to others, it's easy to feel alone in a world where we have at our finger tips "insta" connection. Photographs for me snap me out of those feelings. Looking at photos of my kids remind me that I am doing way better than I think I am--that my kids actually smile a lot, that I am a fun mom and do fun things like dance parties, ice cream smorgasbords and vacations. Photographs are little teleports back in time, documents that help us remember and feel joy. I would love to do that for you and your amazing self. Everyone could use more positive reminders that we are doing an important work!
